Finding the Balance: Company and Personal Privacy While Working Remotely
As millions of employees find themselves working from home (“WFH”), they may be putting the security and privacy of themselves, their families, and their employers at risk. This session will look at personal and family safety, security and privacy issues and good practices. We will walk through the myriad of organizational security and privacy issues that arise from working remotely, whether at home or at other locations. Issues that range from people overhearing phone and meeting conversations, what happens to confidential information that was printed out, to access and storing confidential information on your home computer. Finally, we will debate the organizational responsibility for compensation for use of the home, internet, and other resources.

Brought to you by The BTN Group and HospitalityLawyer.com, this five-city one-day Global Travel Risk Summit series (New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston and London) is focused on educating corporate travel buyers, procurement professionals, human resources, legal and risk professionals and IT on meeting legal obligations and executing safe and secure travel
Managing risk is just as important as managing cost and it’s increasingly important to anyone who manages travel. When people hear “travel risk management,” their thoughts tend to go to earthquakes, volcanoes and riots. And yet, those are just the extreme incidents that make the news. Travel management involves dealing with risk every day in many less public situations – risk that can endanger your company and your travelers and potentially hurt your reputation. So the better you plan for and manage risk, the better off you are.
Risk Mitigation Playbook: Scenarios and Resources
As organizations begin to manage the “return to travel” for staff, travel managers are looking through a new lens of risk mitigation during a pandemic. Join members of the GBTA Risk Committee as we work through relevant and timely travel scenarios and identify available resources for travel managers. Attendees will learn how to recognize and minimize new risk gaps, tools to help prepare travelers, and will leave the session with resources to assist as we return to business travel.
